This article is one I highly recommend to use for starting out using Photoshop to creat a web design. The tutorial is very easy to follow and it introduces you to the grid design, this article uses the 960 grid to assist you layout your web design.

It shows you step by step how to create menus and how to best layout the web page.

This is another web design tutorial using Photoshop but it provides a great deal of steps and it too uses the 960 grid method. This is more for the intermediate user of Photoshop but don’t let that discourage you attempting to use the tutorial.
